Where is Cửa Cạn beach, and what makes it different?

Cửa Cạn beach is on the west coast, about 6 km from Dương Đông, where the Cửa Cạn river meets the sea, leaving a long sandbar between river and sea. Further north, between Ông Lang and Bãi Dài, crescent-shaped Vũng Bầu beach is quiet and wild. Illustration: Phu Quoc Pulse.
