Northeast monsoon: seaweed and debris wash onto Bai Kem, cleared daily

From late October the northeast monsoon pushes water hyacinth, driftwood and seaweed onto east-coast beaches such as Bai Kem. Locals, Sun Group staff and visitors clean up every early morning and late afternoon. East beaches may have tide debris now. Illustration: Phu Quoc Pulse.
