Drive times
- To Duong Dong (town): about 15–20 min (the airport is about 9 km south of Duong Dong).
- To the Bai Truong (Long Beach) resorts: about 15–20 min.
- To An Thoi and Sunset Town (south): about 30 min.
- One passenger terminal for domestic and international flights; in the wet season (May–Oct) afternoon storms can cause short delays.
Taxi
- Taxis, including electric fleets, wait outside arrivals. Xanh SM: book in the app, call 1900 2088, or hail one.
- Xanh SM fares at launch (7/2023): 10,000 VND for the first 0.6 km, then 15,000–16,500 VND/km up to km 25. These are 2023 fares; the app shows the current price.
Bus
- Electric VinBus routes P5.0 (Novotel – airport – Grand World) and P5.1 (airport – Grand World), via Duong Dong and Ong Lang. Free for visitors, per VinWonders.
- The hours published at the 2023 launch may have changed; the VinBus app has live times.
Visa
- Foreign passport holders get up to 30 days visa-free on Phu Quoc, including when they transit via another Vietnamese international airport.
- UK citizens and 11 other countries: 45 days nationwide until 14/3/2028.
- E-visa of up to 90 days: evisa.gov.vn.
